"This property is a historic gem built in 1907, but with modern amenities. The view from the outdoor pool overlooking the valley was worth the stay! The bar and veranda dining options were scrumptious and appreciated, as everything else within 5 miles seemed to be closed on a Monday/Tuesday. If you’re from Florida and missing the lightning bugs, they are everywhere on this property! Also, this proud 20 minutes away from white water rafting! "

The grounds are well maintained, well-lit, and safe. The room was spotless and modern; while a little small, it was still pleasant. The staff here are top-notch and are incredibly kind and accomodating to their guests. Fantastic motel, especially for the price!"

"Room was quiet, clean, having a frig was nice. Bathroom with walk in shower was a nice surprise. Bed was a little soft and in my opinion needs replaced. All in all very good."
