Spacious 18th-Century Country House with Garden, Terrace, and Family Amenities

"This was a meet up between relatives from England & Ireland, we all travelled over to France then went to the location. The Gite itself was very beautiful and in a fantastic setting, the owners were so friendly and helpful and the son of the owners spoke very good English which was a bonus. The downside to the stay was the Gite itself could do with a lick of paint and a thorough clean. The fireplace, which was stunning, needs a sweep down as the soot smell got down our throats and we had to keep the windows open. Also the outside seating area needs a good tidy up as the nettles and brambles were overtaking. I know some of this sounds negative, but All in all we had a very relaxing stay in a fantastic rural setting."

"Idyllic, quiet stop over in the middle of nowhere. Just what we needed after a day on the road. Lovely host. Yummy breakfast and some friendly little ducks and HUGE carp in the pond!"

"This appears to be a re-badged Campanile hotel which has just had Campanile signs changed to Design Inn. As such it provides good basic, no frills accommodation. The one difference with Campanile is that this hotel does not provide dinner but is very close to a Buffalo Grill which is conveniently located for dinner. There were various places where old Campanile signs had been removed but not well repaired so it gives the impression of not being well cared for. The staff were very helpful and found a secure place to store my bicycle. The breakfast was fine without being exceptional."
