Loft in a lovely farm-house on the Mont-Ventoux's country side

10/10 Excellent

"Un petit coin de paradis loin de la foule ... au milieu de vignes et d'abricotiers. Ce n'est pas le grand luxe mais le gîte est propre et il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une semaine tranquille, reposante et relaxante, ... Les espaces verts et ombragés autour du gîte permettent de prendre les repas dehors. Quel bonheur !La grande piscine de 10 m x 4 m est un "plus" indéniable surtout par temps de canicule comme en ce mois de mai.Isabelle est une hôte discrète mais disponible. Proche de Vaison-la-Romaine (8 km), de Malaucène (7 km), de Bédoin (19 km) et de Sault (45 km), cette location constitue un point de départ idéal pour qui veut faire l'ascension du Mont-Ventoux à vélo par les 3 côtés possibles. A ne pas manquer également, la vallée du Toulourenc et les gorges de la Nesque à vélo !Les baignades en rivière sont également possibles à Entrechaux même ! (Pont Romain).Les itinéraires de randonnées à pied sont multiples (nous avons fait le tour des Dentelles de Montmirail depuis le village de Lafarge). Nous avons été émerveillés par les paysages rencontrés.Je pourrai encore ajouter une longue liste aux activités possibles: Avignon et le palais des Papes, Nyons, ...Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tout faire et de tout voir, donc nous reviendrons !Merci encore Isabelle pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse !"

"Le gîte est moyennement entretenu (ménage, vaisselle) mais son emplacement topissime et l'essentiel y est pour un séjour au vert, randos de crêtes à la clé, vue imprenable à couper le souffle. Déception et sentiment de trahison liés au fait que l'annonce ne mentionne pas l'absence de Wi-fi : évidemment, il ne mentionne pas non plus qu'il y a un évier dans la cuisine ! mais les 2 sont tellement évidents en 2026 qu'on n'y fait plus attention. Résultats, faute d'avoir pu prendre des précautions (forfaits mobiles smartphone illimités), un séjour écourté car nous avions prévu de concilier télétravail et vacances, qui plus est avec 2 ados. La bonne foi du propriétaire se mesurera au fait qu'il modifie son annonce..."

The owner was kind to reach out to me to make sure my arrival would not be during a time that might conflict with a scheduled appointment. She gave great recommendations and provided a tasty breakfast. I wish I’d had more than one night because it was lovely."

"We loved the Provence region and particularly being out of the busy towns during the summer high tourist season. Definitely need a car there. We flew into Avignon and drove the car to the hotel, as well as drove around during our stay. The hotel was amazing, almost like having an apartment with a separate room for the kids. It was so peaceful and tucked away. Kids loved the 'pool', the small heated one, which is referred to as the hot tub. There is a much larger pool, but much too cold for our Florida kids :) We ate dinner at the restaurant 1 night and it was very good. You are supposed to make reservations ahead of time, which we didn't realize. They fit us in as it was our arrival night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The main village of Sault is only 10 to 15 minute drive away, and you pass through it to get to the hotel. And, big plus, there is a grocery market about a 5 minute drive away. We had a full kitchen and living area, so we cooked dinner a couple nights and stayed in after touring the area during the day. In terms of other miscellaneous info, there was a small playground with swings and a slide. The main office had a lot of brochures and info about the area. There is a detached room/building for self laundry services. Overall, we all loved this location!"
