"We stayed here to be close to Grayson Highlands State Park and New River to go see the wild ponies and go birding. There were many birds on the property including hummingbirds. Thank you for having the feeder up! We also saw a baby bunny under the shrubs, baby deer, chipmunk, and groundhog on the gravel entrance road. The property was all as described. The only sounds were the birdsong and the creek. :)"

"My husband, kids, and I had such a fabulous weekend at the Garden Shed. The house itself was charming and incredibly clean. We appreciated the owners leaving carrots for the kids to feed Hieronymus, the friendly donkey just steps from the door. We sat outside at night and watched fireflies light up the trees like it was Christmas. If you're looking for a place that's near Grayson Highlands State Park, this is a great option!"

"Property was updated and immaculate. The layout is fantastic. We really enjoyed the porch and spent most of our time outside enjoying the sounds of nature. We had motorcycle riders in our group who wanted to ride the dragon and the road to the property was a little bit challenging as there was loose gravel where they had recently made repairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again!"

"What a relaxing weekend! No phones, TV, internet. Awesome place to get away from it all. So peaceful and nice. The Bunk house was really cool. Decorated just right. It was cold so we made use of the wood stove which gave off the best warmth. Beautiful surroundings. Great place to stay. Highly recommend!"

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tiny cabin. We hope to come back to to do creeper trail (bike rental across the street!) as we ended up hiking the highlands instead. There are so many trails and things to do within relatively close proximity to the cabin, that though it is tiny, it is as also very cozy, super relaxing and highly convenient. Thanks!"
