"Really enjoyable stay in the glamping dome pod. Beds were comfy and the room was cosy with a warm ambience. The location is great for exploring Avebury, Stonehenge and Salisbury. The only slight negative was the toilet and shower facilities which are shared with the campsite, these very fairly basic and got quite messy when the site was busy. "A clean and spacious flat with good facilities. Nice bathroom. Comfy main bed. Tight parking space but in car park with barrier. It was a heatwave, which couldn't be helped, and we stayed on a night with a late England football game, so it wasn't the most comfortable night's stay. The circumstances were exceptional but The flat was very close to two pubs, one that is regularly open until 2am apparently, so it was very noisy at night."

George Hotel

George Hotel

8/10 Good
"On the positive side the staff were really good. Excellent service and very helpful and friendly. The food was good both for breakfast and evening meal. On the negative side, it's an old building and is showing it's age. The floor in our room had a noticeable slope (disconcerting when you get out of bed at night). There was no hot water one evening for a few hours. Seems no-one had spotted the boiler was off."
