"Chose this hotel because it was close to a nearby town. I saw the outside and thought, "It's ok, it's only two nights. I've stayed in a similar place and the room is a clean refuge from a seedy outside." Nope. I took my stuff and stayed at my brother's house. The bed sheets were draping down to the floor under the comforter and the pillows were just thrown on the middle of the bed. There weren't lampshades on the lamps--so just bare bulbs. There was a refrigerator, but it was warm inside. ...

"It served its purpose. Pros: Comfortable bed. Cold fridge (not always a guarantee at a budget chain hotel). Gave me a room upgrade of sorts and choice at check-in, which was kind. Quiet area. Convenient location. Cons (and to be fair, I didn't raise this with the hotel because for a 1 night stay on a road trip, it didn't feel worth the effort, but ...): Door was ajar when I got in (likely a cleaning miscommunication; nothing was "wrong" in the room). AC unit worked but has clearly seen better...

"Traveled to Vincennes for a family reunion. Facility was very nice. Rooms need brighter bulbs, which is a common complaint especially in the bathroom. Pool was nice."
