We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.

Staff and room view.

This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. Staff super friendly, helpful, and...

Just loved this place!! Very classy and well organized/runned! Beautiful! They thought of everything! The place is adorable. The room was great and overlooked the pool. We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. They gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and some snacks when we arrived. The room was stocked with a little refridge and everything was complimentary in it except...

5 mins away from The train station. 15 mins away from the public beach. Very convenient. Great breakfast.

All good thanks and see you next time

This hotel was such a lovely stay! The room was spacious and clean and having the kitchen to cook was a huge plus! Silvia was so kind and helpful and explained everything very well and said we could text her at any time for whatever questions we might have. We will definitely be back again! Thank you!!

Clean, modern convenient accommodation!

Clean room with refrigerator. Spacious . Good location. Can walk to everything. Close to stores and restaurants. 10 minute walk to train station.

Helpful staff, convenient location, clean rooms, loved their breakfast.

We only stayed one night at this hotel and left pre-sunrise, so we really didn't get the full flavor of what the hotel might have had to offer (and certainly didn't get to try their breakfast). What we did experience, however, was comfort and a friendly staff.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom spacious enough. Terrace is nice for relaxing.

Great!!!

Great place to stay right on the water.

What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!
