"The Orion hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately, while we visited, it was on the heels of typhoons, and so the beach area out front was closed off to swimming for cleanup, but we were able to snorkel nearby. One of the items that really surprised me was how fantastic the breakfast buffet was I’m not a breakfast person, but it provided an opportunity to try many different types of Okinawan food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely recommend staying at this resort."

"I understand that being surrounded by nature means that some insects may come inside occasionally, but I panicked when I found a cockroach even though the windows had not been opened. Overall, the room was generally clean and well maintained, but there was still some dirt left in the bathroom. "Old place and very hard to find. We found directions when google reccomended 'places nearby' somehow the directions on Expedia kept sending us to the wrong place. Its quite close to Pizza in the Sky so we kept using that as our GPS reference point. The host was very nice lady and the view from the patio is incredible. Again very old and a little dusty but so charming. Just dont expect to be able to walk to konbini after dark. Nothing close by you will need rental car for sure."
