"An absolute dream of a hotel. We have just returned from the most incredible week’s stay at S’Hotel D’es Puig, Deiá, Mallorca. The location has to offer some of the best views in town which are simply stunning. The incredibly personable welcome from both Lucien, Irena and all members of staff made the whole experience one of the best stays and we both felt completely comfortable throughout our time. We were delighted to discover the beautiful, refurbished room 18 that was provided and waking up to the view over the pool and gardens with the most spectacular mountains each morning with the sound of birdsong has be one of the most wonderful experiences. Magical. The hotel provides an excellent selection for breakfast and great coffee in beautiful, relaxed surroundings with a friendly, international crowd. The hotel is located in the centre of Deiá and also offers guest parking. We loved our experience, thought that S’Hotel D’es Puig offered excellent value and would definitely be happy to return. "What a fabulous property! The pictures, though enticing, don't do it full justice. Stone, tile, wood, and plaster are all you see in the beautifully crafted design, with spacious interiors, high ceilings and windows that maximize the view. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we enjoyed cooking (though we would have liked a way to brew coffee other than the small French press.) Pool was delightful. Overall, the villa met or exceeded our (high) initial expectations.More generally, our stay was in mid-late October, but the whole Deia area was still very crowded and busy so that parking almost anywhere was a struggle (if this was "shoulder season," it's hard to imagine what the high summer season looks like!) One tip: do your food shopping somewhere else before you arrive, or be prepared to drive to Soller or Valdemossa -- the one small grocery in Deia is a wildly-overpriced rip-off."
