La Caseta de las Aguas aloja un sistema de bombeo para captar las aguas subterráneas del río Ripoll y subirla al llano de la ciudad de Sabadell. Cuando el sistema entró en funcionamiento, en 1913, el agua se conducía hasta el Templet de les Aigües, en la calle Vilarrúbies, donde estaban los clarificadores. Más adelante, en 1922, al construirse la Torre del Agua, el agua recogida se almacenaba en este depósito elevado, para después distribuirla por la ciudad. La torre dejó de funcionar com tal en 1967. Actualmente la Caseta de las Aguas se ha rehabilitado y se bombea agua hasta el parque del Taulí y todo el parque fluvial del Ripoll.

Excellent stay at Masd Mediterraneo. Hotel very clean, rooms very practical made for a family of 4 . We had an Apartment at first floor with 2 rooms , 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen. Staff very nice . For sure we would like to come back at this hotel .
