"Nice quiet place. The walls of Lugo are a 20 minute uphill hike, but doable. The river walking trails are great. The clientele of this hotel are largely elderly. The Roman baths in the basement are interesting if you like that sort of thing. "

"this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel"

"This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve done the Camino on a few occasions. Where to start? The building is beautiful with exposed old stone it just looks gorgeous. The beds are very comfortable. The pods give you privacy and the bag locker is a good idea. "This was our favorite stop on the Camino! Everything was curated so perfectly from the animals roaming outside to the beautiful pool to soak from a day of walking. The owner was so kind to us as well. Can’t recommend this place enough, you will never want to leave! "
