"Absolutely loved my stay at the Cascade Hotel! The neighborhood location is perfect—walkable, vibrant, and gives you a true Portland experience. The hotel itself is top-notch, with 5-star amenities and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the absolute highlights was the thermal springs—an unforgettable experience and a must-visit for anyone staying here. I’ll definitely be back!"
"One of the best hotels for meeting our expectations of responsiveness of staff, safety, cleanliness, light levels, big frig and parking. I recommend but not fancy just nice."
"Wonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. "

"I liked the location and how welcoming the staff was when we had checked in. There was a lot to do around the hotel and the hotel also had a nice restaurant and bar."
"The staff were absolutely wonderful and I provided a nice room for my disabled daughter and I on the first floor. The second day my key was not working and the manager actually noticed that it wasn’t working and by the time I turned around to get a new key, he had already met me in the parking lot with a new one! I have never had such great service! Room 101 was the best, it had a full kitchen, a table that had four chairs, four windows on three walls. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil one could possibly want. It was a bit retro with plywood cupboards, but we don’t mind that kind of thing. The beds were very comfortable and had beautiful headboards. The sleeping area was carpeted, which was nice for doing morning stretches. The bathtub was comfortable and had a nice working plug. The hotel is on the light rail, but it was quiet day and night. Within four blocks walk, there was a Fred Meyer and multiple eating establishments. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood during the day."

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fabulous stay! The house is beautiful and in a really fun location. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and there's a grocery store just 3 blocks away. It was really hot the week we were there. I'm happy to report that the A/C worked great and kept the house cool.Tam was a wonderful host. Super responsive and had fun suggestions for things to do in the area. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Portland."
