About this property

Guesthouse in the heart of Historic Folsom

  • "The Pig on Fig" is walking distance to Historic Folsom’s famous Sutter Street and Lake Natoma! Adorable guesthouse is just one block from the best restaurants, shops, bars and entertainment. Just a couple blocks away you'll find the perfect place to SUP, kayak, hike or cycle. Be neighbors with the famous Sutter Street Pig!

    The guest house is our “back house” and is attached to our garage. We share a backyard fence but everything else is completely private. The home is best suited for 2 adults sleeping together. If you have more than 2 people, there is a small added fee. No pets, please. NO SMOKING.

    The guesthouse is 750 square feet with a living area, breakfast nook and full kitchen downstairs and a spacious bedroom, bathroom and laundry room upstairs.

    You have your own private front yard, backyard, and single car driveway. We are here if you need anything, or want to meet our famous pet mini pig, who the guesthouse is named after. But we also offer complete privacy if desired.

Had a great stay. Well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect for walking to the historic district. As a baby boomer, the techie TV stuff was hard to navigate for me, but they younger folks probably consider it normal. I would stay here again when visiting my cousins in Folsom.

Great place in a great location

Only a 2 block walk to old town Folsom, and the American River with its many pathways. My wife and I enjoy walking and most everything we were interested in was within 1 mile of the VERBO. John and Amber were wonderful, very responsive, clean well kept and supplied home, even better than advertised. Was a very quiet neighborhood with friendly people. We would stay there again.

The neighborhood was nice and location was perfect for walking to the downtown area. The house was as advertised a perfect for us. Welcoming space with a homey feel which I appreciate. The binder of recommendations and area attractions were on point and helpful. The owners were available if needed and gave me all the details needed for a smooth checkin and check out. We genuinely enjoyed our stay at this location. Everything was clean & very well thought out. A very cozy, yet spacious home. If I were to complain about anything, it would be the sofa...It's not very comfy or big. Lol. But other than that, we loved everything! Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

One Bedroom Home in Historic Folsom

This BnB served as our home for an 8-day stay. We will return for sure. Highlights: - Walking distance to Sutter Street historic district. - A complete small home on two levels, with a large bedroom upstairs. - Nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. - Access to Winnie the Pig, who was voted "Local Hero" in a recent poll. - Easy day trips to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and gold rush towns like Coloma and Placerville. - One mile away from Folsom Prison... go to museum and gift shop. - Hosts were wonderful!!! This was the perfectly equipped stay in Old Town. Communication with the host was super simple and timely. Check in and out were smooth and the very clean accommodations met our needs. The location is perfect for restaurants and walking trails. We’re regulars in Folsom and so glad we discovered this gem. We’ll definitely check availability for next time we’re in town!
