"Wonderful stay at this Calico Rock cabin. Clean, lots of amenities …. Kitchenware, washer/dryer, coffee makers, comfortable beds & the view from the deck is simply gorgeous. The host was great at communicating, checkin was simple & easy. Entire stay felt like home. "

"The house is beautiful, beds comfortable, everything clean and well equipped, and there are cozy nooks with all kinds of books and some games, too. The river is gorgeous and the 3 recliners on the sun porch are the place to be! They are so comfortable and you can’t beat that view. Hope to return when the weather is better and enjoy the porches and decks. "

"The property was exactly as advertised. It's secluded and quiet with beautiful views of the river and surrounding hills. The open deck, jacuzzi and fire pit were the highlights of our stay. "

"This rustic cabin provided us with a great basecamp for a Spring running vacation. We used the Syllamo and Syllamore trails and loved drinking coffee and eating our meals on the porch that overlooked the White River. The accommodations were good, but we would have known what the cooking product (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) inventory was before we arrived. Because of this, we ended up bringing a lot of our own items, which we were happy about since we cooked a lot in the house.Our stay coincided with a pretty awful tornado that resulted in a lot of destruction to the neighboring town of Fifty Six. We were not aware of where the safest place to stay in the cabin was or what emergency protocols were. It ended up being fine, but it would have been nice to hear from the property manager or learn more about those emergency procedures."
