"was only a contingency booking due to being flooded out at a campsite along the road. was a nice place, very clean and professional. the dinner was superb and good value, the staff friendly and helpful. they had some storm damage, but this barely affected service. bit pricey for me, but then i was expecting to camp - if you can spring a hundred euro for a night is well worth it! secure bike parking also"

"I don’t usually write reviews but I loved everything about this place. From the individually styled rooms to the chair carved out of the stump of an old sycamore tree at the top of a flight of metal steps. Everything has been put together with such thought and care. "

"I have used this accomodation for my travels since 8 years now and 2 times a year. The service level is wors and wors... yesterday one cleark more ore less told me when i said " i dont speak france" that he told in bad eng " when you are in France, then you also must respect and understand our langue"... "It was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was shabby and it was some sort of shower kit that combined sink, toilet and shower altogether with little separation. There is a big step up to enter and exit that was awkward. Room is tiny but functional. The rate is very low so one night is ok, Staff is terrific. "
