"We stayed for three weeks in July, and this was the perfect base for exploring the area. The cottage is charming - tastefully decorated, spacious and clean. It is in an excellent location - quiet but only a short distance from the centre of town. "We read all of the 5 star reviews before booking and having stayed there we can see why. Everything about the property makes for a good holiday. If you are looking for peace and quiet surrounded by fields and woodland, look no futher. Carole and Jose who manage the property were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive and when we had a small problem with one of the toilets the put it right immediately. We thought the surrounding area was lovely and enjoyed the local markets."

"Fantastic place with large secure garden. We didn’t travel as much as expected because we had trouble dragging the kids out of the pool / away from the games barn. When we did the nearby lake with canoeing, beach and play park was great. Very eclectic location - not luxurious but really well equipped for a self catering family. "

"Several items were broken, some terrible smells from plumbing, hornets nest somewhere in building, sun umbrellas useless, swimming pool dirty with lots of wasps around it that stung the children. Altogether, I was disgusted especially for what we paid"
