"We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. It was lovely and clean throughout and the front terrace was a lovely sunny spot all day! Our host, Fred was lovely, very discreet but available if we needed anything."

"This unit is in a great area of Périgueux, just across the river from the centre of the city. I loved the location as it was an easy walk to the cathedral and the market held in that part of town; there are restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops near the cathedral; an easy walk to the Intermarché for my supplies; an even easier walk to a wonderful patisserie/boulangerie (try the croissant for sure, the best I have had in a long time). Jocelyne was a great hostess and very easy to reach by...

"We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"Overall we had a very enjoyable stay in the apartment. We would highlight for others that the stairs to the apartment would not make this suitable for anyone suffering a physical impairment as they are very uneven. Fun for kids though!"

"Emplacement idéale pour visiter la région. A deux pas de Périgueux et de la voie verte pour se promener et faire des randonnées et du VTT (parcours de trail). La propriétaire très gentille et elle a su répondre rapidement à nos besoins. Location au 1er étage d'une maison très spacieuse, bien aménagée. Le plus : draps et lingeries compris dans le prix et tout le nécessaire à disposition. Je recommande cette location Merci Christiane."

"We chose the Hotel de Bordeaux for our visit to Bergerac for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. And an excellent value! Our stay in Bergerac was very pleasant thanks to the Hotel de Bordeaux. "

"This is a very central hotel, and at first glance is very much in the traditional mould. However everything is modern, comfortable and works. There's even a pool and the breakfast was very good. The parking is limited but there's (paid) public parking right outside. Overall very good value for money."

"This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet area of Bergerac but very close to the railway station. My room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom that was also very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay there again."

"Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."
