Amazing host

Very nice man. Tried his best to speak with us and was very happy that veteran family were staying in his home. Lots of parking and short walk to the beach.

Un Noël dans le caca

Les points positifs : la maison est très belle, avec une grande pièce à vivre, très lumineuse. Les chambres se trouvent sur 2 étages, et certaines ont une vue sur la mer. Elle se situe tout près de la mer. Le terrain est magnifique, et le propriétaire avait accepté la présence de notre petit chien. En plus, il m'a contacté pour nous dire que si nous souhaitions arriver plus tôt, cela serait possible. Et pour finir, comme ils n'étaient pas présents à notre départ, ils nous avaient précisé que l'on pouvait partir quand on le souhaitait. Les points négatifs : La cuisine est minuscule par rapport à la capacité de personnes pour la maison. L'au coule en filet dans le lavabo, ce qui a été compliqué lorsque nous avons reçu notre famille. Nous avons du faire la cuisine à la cave, car le débit de l'eau était meilleur... Le pire a été les toilettes, qui se sont bouchées la veille du réveillon. Il y a 2 toilettes (1er et 2ème étage, aucune au RDC). Et évidemment, c sont les toilettes du 1er qui étaient bouchées. Très pratique quand il y a des personnes de 80 ans, pas très en forme, qui doivent monter au 2ème.. Et le lendemain, l'autre toilette était bouchée ! Une invitée de 86 ans a du faire pipi dans le jardin ! Les propriétaires savaient qu'il y avait un problème, ils en ont fait part à mon mari, mais ont quand même loué cette maison !!! Nous avons du rester à la maison toute une après midi pour gérer les déboucheurs. Et le propriétaire ne veut pas nous dédommager !!

Très agréable séjour dans une belle maison de caractère. La proximité de la plage et des commerces permet de laisser la voiture dans la propriété. Le jardin clos est un merveilleux terrain d'aventures pour les jeunes enfants. Merci au propriétaire qui laisse à notre disposition jouets, livres......

Superbe maison pour un magnifique séjour

Beaucoup de superlatifs dans le titre mais qui sont largement mérités. Très belle maison avec beaucoup de charme suranné. Très confortable, bien équipée. Quatre chambres spacieuses, un grand espace salon/salle à manger. Le jardin est très agréable, permet de prendre ses repas au grand air. Idéal pour les enfants qui profiteront du terrain pour se dégourdir les jambes lors de parties de cache-cache endiablées. Très bon accueil du propriétaire disponible avec beaucoup d'explications utiles pour passer un bon séjour. Location à 2 minutes à pied de la plage. La station est très familiale, située sur la côte d'albâtre, elle propose de belles plages. Le patrimoine culturel de la région est très riche. Quelques kilomètres en voiture nous a permis d'atteindre : -Caen pour visiter les abbayes et le château de Guillaume le Conquérant, les nombreuses églises de la ville, le mémorial consacré à la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. -Bayeux pour la tapisserie retraçant la bataille d'Hastings et pour la magnifique cathédrale. -Falaise pour le château natal de Guillaume le Conquérant. -Cabourg, ville charmante mais trop fréquentée cependant. -Les plages du débarquement, les cimetières et les musées pour un "pèlerinage" historique passionnant et émouvant. Un séjour réussi autant par la qualité des visites que par la qualité de la location proposée qui frise la perfection. Merci pour cette très belle semaine.

Une maison de charme, un super séjour

Notre séjour fut (trop) court mais très agréable. La maison est magnifique et on s'y sent bien. Du volume, de nombreux équipements (rien n'a manqué en ce qui nous concernait), un très grand jardin, et la proximité avec le front de mer. Le propriétaire est adorable et l'accueil fut parfait. Pour tous ceux qui veulent profiter de la côte de nacre, du pays de Caen, voire de Bayeux, et d'un hébergement familial de qualité, une adresse hautement recommandée.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison de vacances à deux pas de la plage dans une rue calme. C'est une maison idéale pour accueillir une grande famille avec des enfants de tout âge, du lit à barreau pour le bébé au grand jardin clos pour jouer à cache-cache ou au ballon. Cuisine simple très bien équipée, vaisselle abondante, salon et chambres confortables. Il ne faut juste pas craindre les escaliers, les étages sont hauts! Merci à Monsieur Uteza qui nous a fort bien accueilli et mis sa maison et tout ce qu'elle contient (jeux pour les enfants, livres...) à disposition très chaleureusement.

Enjoyed our stay very nice old building on a quiet street.we where able to get our motorbikes off road parking on the grass.if it had rained probably not because we had heavyweight bikes.shower. was good with plenty of hot water.enjoyed sitting outside at table even though we had to bring it and chairs from the cellar and put it together.only entertainment was a DVD player with no DVDs and television.after paying £1200 for a week and having to bring bedding and towels on a motorbike we had a good time.when we left we returned the dismantled table and chairs to the cellar.upon leaving we where also presented with a bill for services used.water gas electricity.

bon sejour

maison familiale pleine de charme. Nous avons apprécié le grand jardin et surtout la proximité de la plage. dommage qu'elle ne soit pas plus fonctionnelle. Manque de grands saladiers et plats ( pour 8 personnes) . néanmoins nous avons passé une semaine formidable.

Super semaine !!!

Maison très agréable une maison qui a une vie, très bien située, 3minutes de la mer quoi demander de mieux, un grand jardin (surtout lorsque vous avez des petits enfants...) et cerise sur le gateau un temps magnifique. Très bon accueil du propriétaire.
