"Initial confusion over check in was quickly resolved by email/call to responsive host. Tiny and cute but stairs to upper floor need agility to negotiate. Bring your own staples. Distance to shops made total lack of kitchen supplies inconvenient."

"A very tranquil location, away from the crowds but within east reach of beautiful towns & great restaurants. A good sized swimming pool & area for lounging in the sun kept both parents & teenagers happy, The owners were also very kind, particularly when our delayed flight meant we arrived after midnight!"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est vraiment au calme. Le seul Petit bemol je dirai que nous n'avons pas été averti avant notre venue qu'il y avait pas le wifi. Le ménage reste sommaire mais franchement ça nous a pas dérangé du tout c'est très bien pour un séjour de vacances et en plus le petit plus c'est que avec les grosses chaleurs que nous avons eu, le logement reste très très frais et c'est très appréciable. Nous recommandons ce logement."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Villamblard. Our little house was practical and cool with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was incredibly relaxing to sit out in our little front garden and watch the swallows swooping over the flowers. The pool and main garden were lovely to spend time in too. Sarah and Tim were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and being included in the animals' routine was an absolute highlight for our 11 year old. She loved getting to know the horses,...

"A great location in the Dordogne Valley. Many chateaux, gardens and medieval villages to visit. Central to the many caves where the troglodytes lived and of course the Dordogne River on which you can do many ventures."

"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
