"We enjoyed our stay at Domaine Mélusine. I had three nights to visit nearby Puy du Fou. We were tempted to stay longer because it was so comfortable and felt like a home from home. We shared a 3 bed property for two couple and each couple had a bathroom. The property and grounds were clean and spacious. The kitchen had all supplies needed for basic cooking including a Nespresso machine. We would return for a longer stay. "

"A basic hotel about a 20 minute walk from the town centre. Not much in the town to do. We only stayed here as family staying nearby so we visited them. Car park is okay but very tight to manoeuvre around, had to reverse out when we left as full and impossible to turn. "

"It is our fourth time in la Barbinière. Really lovely hotel. Nice pool area. Nice restaurants. And nice rooms. Conveniently located for us going from Toulouse to Normandy. Our holiday starts in la Barbinière!"

"Auberge hyper tranquille à 10 mn du puy du fou. Lieu ideal pour se reposer la nuit apres une journee de marche. Piscine à l'extérieure. Pas tres grande mais suffisant. Diner pris au restaurant de lauberge, tres bon, de qualité. Petit dejeuner idem."

"We filled the chateau with 26 people, aged from 2 to 80, and it never felt overcrowded. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also been upgraded from the white plastic in the photos and was very nice. It was perfect for Puy du Fou but also in a lovely area to explore - though we mostly stayed at home to enjoy the facilities. One thing to note - the pool and tennis are 'communal' which means you may be sharing them with another large party in the other half of the chateau. With a bit of polite communication that was not a problem, especially with so much fine weather."
