"The gentleman of the house could not be more gracious. His English is superb ( my French is nonexistent ) so he was able to help me make plans for all my area touring. Located about .5 hour from towns,beachs, parks.... There is onsite parking. The property was completely renovated 2016 and I mean everything. King room is spacious by any standard with a beautifully appointed bathroom and separate dressing room.Outdoor space has options for shade, sun, lounge. Picnic pack, spa, sauna, and dinner...

"Lovely 16C old house in the centre of Saintes bags of character and very friendly, informative hosts. A little rickety due to its age but this just adds to the charm. Bottom line is that we would be happy to visit again."

"The accommodation is in a beautiful spot and provided everything we wanted for a very comfortable stay. Couldn't fault anything. Owner has been very thoughtful in ensuring her guests enjoy their time in this beautiful place. Definitely 5 stars from us. Didn't want to leave. "
