"Very new, clean, and modern, but important to note it's not in the city center. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the exception of Jean. Our train from Paris was cancelled and so we needed to reduce our nights stayed, and he was very unhelpful and rigid despite Hotels.com contacting him and offering to reverse all charges/commissions."

"In countless hotels I have stayed at over the past 20 years, of all price ranges, this one grabs the distinction of making it among the worst stays I have been. I even forgot it was possible to be that unprofessional. First, this is NOT a real hotel, it is a fake appartment complex, with 0 charm. You get none of the traditional hotels benefits: Your room won't be cleaned (only once a week, clean your own mess, wash your own things, expect none of the things you will use to be replenished, like just the shower soap or coffee pod), you will not have the possibility to have your own temperature, it is alledgedly at the will of the building landlord, so even if the temperature is about 80-85 degrees in your room, NO A/C, no air conditioning for the whole week. Try to sleep on a bumpy uneven mattress from one side to the other. Leave the window open to try to cool down the room at night, get eaten alive by mosquitos. Wake up in the morning at 7.30am to NO WATER! NO SHOWER possible... Before a full day with clients... Try to go to the front desk for a solution by suggesting using a room which checked out early (some floors still had some water), hear the manager Romuald (if that's his real name) almost insult you for daring to ask, and not being comprehensive enough... without any apologies. The only positives: the location, and the convenient underground paying parking. But, you can find plenty of better places around... Consider yourself warned."

"This hotel is located in a business district a good 10 minute walk to the tram stop for travelling into town Unfortunately the bedroom windows were all blocked by wire caging which restricted any views Breakfast food quality was very good. Beds were large & very comfortable. Hotel was very clean & staff at reception were excellent. We were not aware of the dining room located on the first floor until we were leaving which looked very good."

"Very nice hotel, 20mins walk from the city center. Beautiful room, however the air conditioning wasn’t working in our room but the staff were very helpful and brought us fan. Note they don’t see messages posted in the comments box when booking on Expedia - better sending separate message. There is an on-premise parking with limited spaces so make sure you contact hotel for it specifically and ask them to book it for you."

"Beautiful chateaux - and excellent location in terms of proximity to Saint Emilion. Rooms were great and staff were extremely helpful. Big call out to Veren in the restaurant and wine bar - very attentive, funny and a great ambassador. One suggestion would be for the hotel to run a shuttle bus to Bordeaux a couple of time a day - either free or for a charge - Uber was about €120 into the city albeit much cheaper coming back - would be a nice touch if the hotel wanted to consider it. Overall a fantastic stay - thank you and would recommend it without hesitation (check out the frogs in the lake too - a real frog chorus!)"
