"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "This hotel was simply perfect for us. It was convenient to the older part of the city. There are little restaurants nearby, as well as a small grocery store. The people who worked there were efficient, kind, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and pleasant. They actually saved our trip, when the train people went on strike suddenly on the day we were supposed to leave. We were so grateful for their help and knowledge."
