"We loved staying here. The house was lovely and well equipped. However, the really big positives for us were the setting of the house and the helpfulness of the host. Cons: Het huis is ons inziens meer geschikt voor 2 personen. De tweede slaapkamer is de 'woonkamer' met slaapbank. Omdat deze kamer als slaapkamer werd gebruikt, hadden we binnen minder mogelijkheden om te zitten. Vanwege het mooie weer hebben we dat niet vaak als belemmering ervaren."

"Very clean which was great. No air-conditioning and no fans which during a heatwave made it quite unpleasant. It was absolutely not clear on booking that the pool is over 18s only. The pool was the only reason we picked this property and our 14 and 16 year old were excited to cool off in the pool, to be told they couldn't was hugely disappointing. There appears to be a restaurant but we were told it is not open in the evenings."

"What a fantastic hotel. Great location near the sea and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms were extremely well equipped with fridge and microwave. The receptionist encouraged us to bring food back and cook at the hotel if we wanted. The room had a balcony with two chairs and a table, great view out to the tributary. The bed was very comfy, air con on the rooms. Secure parking. Breakfast was great with a large selection of food."

"Hotels.com said that reception closed at 20.00 but it closed at 19.00! Fortunately we arrived at the same time as some other late arrivals who phoned someone and found their room card under the outside ash tray....ours was there too. Unfortunately the details were incorrect so it took us ( and several friendly people) a long time to find our room. The whole site was almost empty and only just starting for the season. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. When we met the receptionist the following morning she was very apologetic. We feel that better information about the Adonis should be provided. "
