Didn't have much time here as on way to Bordeaux but beautiful church and quaint hilltown surrounded by vineyards.
Great wine. Nightmare to go without a car. No taxi stand at the train station and no paved side walk so you either call a cab and pay 22 euros to go 1.2 miles or walk in the road with your luggage
Wouldn’ t recommend wine train & don’t be convinced by the office of tourism to take the monolith church tour in French because they give you the history on a sheet in English. Most of the tour is too dark to read and follow along !
A wonderland for the wine lover and just a beautiful little town Stay a couple nights if you have the time
I did not have to visit the city.
