It was very good and unique surrounded by forest it was i little oasis. The host looked after us very well, we had a nice breakfast with other guests a first for us.

It’s a very animal friendly house as she has horses/dogs/birds/chickens and even a peacock!! The pool was a great relief after a long drive and that’s also where we enjoyed breakfast the following morning. The owner Laura was very nice and showed us to our rooms in the house with our own fans and bathroom (shower). We went for dinner at the local restaurant which was ok but next time I’d go in to Bourges town. It was very near a Super U, a carrefour which both had petrol and a Lidl for bread in the morning

We stayed one night on our way to the south of France. The setting is magical, in the woods, on the edge of a little town and with lovely animals. The host was very friendly. She recommended a great local restaurant.

The lady that runs the House (the Owner) is lovely. She was keen to make everybody welcome. Breakfast was lovely when served with other guests whom we got to talk to. The grounds of the house are a real joy to see with great facilities well kept. I would stay there again.

Hidden gem

This is a lovely spot in the middle of woodland. We stayed in a little apartment that was generally well kitted out. Probably suitable for a night or two. The room was clean and warm especially good for a night in February. The owner was very friendly and brought us our delicious breakfast on a tray in the morning. Our only concern was the bedroom area which was up steep stairs with large gap in the railings over the living room. Overall we had a super stay and would come back

This is a totally worn out location. Very bad state of the room and its accommodation. Lovely lady host and beautiful garden estate do not compensate the bad night for our family stay. Luckily it was only for one night.

We had a lovely stay at La Faisanderie with our 2 young children. We were met by the lovely host who really made sure we felt welcome and we were comfortable. The kids had the best time seeing all the animals and swimming in the amazing big pool. We hope to visit again soon, thank you for a lovely stay!

Comfortable cottage in the woods

The cottage is charmingly located in the woods with a collection of pet animals including dogs, horses, ducks, peacocks and chickens. There’s a welcoming swimming pool by the side of which we took our breakfast. The accommodation was in need of some TLC but was otherwise clean and comfortable.

The wooden bungalow needed a good clean. There were lots of Spider webs, spiders and dust. Quite a lot of ants so couldn't eat or drink on the porch. Breakfast was left on the porch table and ants and fly's we're on the food and in the fresh orange juice. We didn't sleep very well due to the bugs and heat. Only fans and no air conditioning.

Un petit bémol, j'avais réservé la Suite Studio Familiale et nous avons séjourné dans la chambre familiale, nous n'avons pas été prévenu de ce changement un peu décevant.... Je voudrais simplement mettre en garde les familles avec enfants de ne pas toucher les animaux (mauvaise expérience à ce niveau).

Familieværelset var lidt til en primitive side - og enormt varmt, da der var 35 grader og kun en blæser. Poolen var dejlig og det var et hyggeligt sted med mange dyr. Værtinden var meget sød og snaksagelig.

Bonjour, Ma mère (81 ans) et moi sommes arrivées en pleine canicule le 29/05/2026. L'hôte, Laure, nous a accueillie chaleureusement en nous proposant de suite une boisson. La chambre correspondait à ma réservation et le petit-déjeuner au bord de la piscine était superbe ; rien ne manque. Merci Laure

La chambre était terriblement sale, les draps troués, l'odeur douteuse. La cafetière était tellement sale que nous sommes partis avant le petit déjeuner que nous avions pourtant payé. Je pense que dorénavant nous n'irons plus en chambre d'hôtes.
