"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"La maison est grande, pratique (manque peut-être un frigo quand on est une dizaine). L'espace autour est super agréable. Nous avons bien profité de la table de ping ping, du barbecue. Et que dire de la piscine couverte , magique ! Notre hôte nous a toujours répondu. Et il y a de quoi visiter aux alentours, en voiture bien sûr. Donc nous avons passé de belles vacances dans cette maison."

"Gîte très bien, absolument adapté à nos besoins, la salle de bain est top, les pièces sont très spacieuses et confortables.. A 15 on ne s'est pas senti à l'étroit.. On s'est même cherché 😁.. Il y a de la vaisselle en quantité, tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et se faire de grande tablé.. Les extérieurs sont super avec le terrain de pétanque qui nous a beaucoup servi.. "Après être montés en voiture sur une route très étroite avec un virage très serré dans les bois, nous sommes arrivés devant une grande maison ancienne dont les clés étaient prêtes dans la boîte à clés. Ceci a été très appréciable après avoir parcouru plus de 700 kms avec notre petit fils âgé de 2 ans. Le logement est situé au rez-de-chaussée ; les propriétaires sont à l'étage. Le salon est petit mais confortable et fonctionnel. Nous avons passé deux jours agréables. "

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
