"Got a free upgrade, first time ever when using Hotels.com. Helpful staff, everyone greated us - fast check out."

"Room was clean, as were the separate toilet and shower facilities. It was just that I had economised too much. I should have paid extra for a proper room with a private bathroom and ample room for my luggage. Staff were really good and helpful. There was a reasonable bar in the wider reception area. This was also the area where a buffet breakfast was served. It was an "eat all you can" buffet, but the choice was very limited. No hot food at all. And the room was too small to accommodate all the guests. It was available only from 800am onwards, which was too late if I wanted a full day out."

"My room was very small with wore down nasty thread bare carpet and too much furniture for the space. The bed height was extremely low and uncomfortably. Hotel Hamburg is located in a very questionable area with a lot of seedy people. Location to Central Train station, the continental breakfast and working heat best thing I can say about Hotel Hamburg! Don’t be out on the streets after dark."
