"If you’re looking for private, relaxing and intimate vacation, then the Escape at Nunsuch Bay is your place. This was a cute boutique resort. The property was small. There was a general pool, bar area and one restaurant. The beach was a 10-15 minute hike up and down a mountain. The beach was nice but very windy and the water wasn’t conducive to swimming.. a lot of slimy base soil. But the rooms were spacious and private and sea weed. The rooms were as described, each containing a private pool, outdoor tub and sunning area. Overall this is definitely a no frills resorts. They don’t provide any drinks or snacks in the rooms, other than 2 bottles of water - which you’re told to hold onto to refill at the centralized water cooler. The one restaurant served meals at scheduled times and the food is made to order, based on the limited and daily changing menu. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. But again, if you’re looking for high energy, this is not your resort. There is no night life, music or entertainment provided onsite."

"Everything was great. The only draw back was the amount of weeds in the water. To my understanding a lot of Caribbean islands are experiencing this issue. Nevertheless, our trip was excellent. "

"No life guards on the beach ever. Beach food shack ran out of buns at 1pm and closed for the day. Cafe/icecreambar was empty every day. Restaurants are not actually available 7 days a week. Antigua governor and staff showed up and shut down the main buffet to “tourists” forcing them to sit outside in a back corner with pans on hot plates&only like 7options. Power went out in our room multiple times every night. Pool has tiles melting away causing hazard. No handle on outside balcony. Sports bar hands you a menu then you go to order and they tell you oh we don’t have that and only actually have 2 items total on the whole menu. Also not very wheelchair accessible throughout resort. Also staff locks the bathrooms near the pool all day so they don’t have to clean them. Terrible service and out of all royalton resorts I’ve been to this is the most disappointing. Only serves bread and pasta pretty much when the buffet is actually available. I could say more but I’m running out of space. This is truly embarrassing and awful. Save your money."

"The room and bathroom was smaller than we thought. The bar at the pool wasn’t adequately stocked and kept running out of liquor. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The steakhouse ran out of steaks and only had flank steaks and none of the enhancement was available. The Italian restaurant food was great and service. The event staff was great very friendly, spoke to everyone, engaged everyone. Our check-in experience was horrible. It took very long to get our room ready. We were last out of a group to get our room. It took about 2 1/2 hours after our 3 PM check-in time."

"DEFINITELY MY BEST BDAY TRIP EVER!!!! THE FOOD WAS YUUMMIILLICIOUS....LOL. SERIOUSLY, THIS PLACE WAS A DREAM, GREAT VIEW, LOVELY STAFF, SUPERB AMENITIES & DEVINE FOOD. SO MANY POOLS AND BEACHES TO RELAX EVERYWHERE. I ENJOYED EVERYTHING, FROM 730AM TO 1AM EVERYDAY. MS. MARINA, THE GM MADE MY STAY WONDERFUL. THANK YOU AO MUCH FOR THE BEST HOSPITALITY ANYONE HAS EVER SHOWN ME. I SEE WHY PEOPLE COME BACK EVERY YEAR. THIS PLACE IS A HOME AWAY FROM HOME, GENUINE CARE, PEACE AND TRANQUILITY IN ONE! OH AND THE PINK PARTY!!!!!!!TOP NOTCH. PS. YES YOU HAVE TO GET UP AND GET YOUR DRINKS WHILE SWIMMING BUT SO WORTH IT. GIVE YOU A BREAK FROM ALL THAT SUN TANNING LOL"

"First trip to Antigua and our stay at Pineapple Beach Club Antigua was a wonderful experience overall. We stayed in an ocean view room, and the views were absolutely beautiful! The beach and pool areas were consistently very clean, well maintained, and relaxing. The majority of the staff we encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we really appreciated the effort they put into the overall hospitality. A few things future travelers may want to know - the resort tends to cater to an older/retired crowd (we are in our early 40s), so many of the activities, entertainment, and dining atmosphere reflect that pace and demographic. That wasn’t necessarily a negative for us, just something to be aware of depending on the type of vacation you’re looking for. The food was decent overall, not exceptional, but the buffet did rotate options daily and offered a good variety from day to day. One area that could be improved is access to bottled water, since additional bottles were only available in the gift shop during limited hours beyond the two complimentary bottles provided in the room at arrival. Filter water stations are available at bars. We also found the bar selections limited if you prefer premium options. Those points aside, we truly had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The beautiful property, stunning beach, and hardworking staff made for a memorable vacation, and we’re very grateful for the hospitality we received. We would absolutely return here."

"Over 10 days I had three rooms every single room had an issue with it. Staff are excellent they have to be as the property is rundown and tired. The beach and pool area is beautiful. The buffet food is abundant not good but abundant acs barely work and the Wi-Fi is intermittent at best."
