"Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff"

Host lives in her own unit just below this VRBO and thus was available to answer Qs re where to find things or even offer activity & sightseeing suggestions. She also connected us with a local who made & delivered a hot 7-course dinner incorporating the local cuisine. (We all agreed that this was one of the best meals we had during our 2-wk stay.)"
