"Dans cet endroit de charme et de calme, l’idéal pour se reposer, avec une décoration simple et originale. La maîtresse des lieux a toujours de petites intentions pour ses autres. Tous les soirs en arrivant dans la pièce commune, il y a petit gâteau fait maison, jus de pomme, froid ou chaud ou vin chaud. Tout cela nous donne envie d’y retourner très vite. "The host was wonderful, really helpful, booking a restaurant for us, and checking that we had what we needed. The kitchen is fine but is a galley and cramped for more than two people at a time. Facilities there are OK and all the basics are there. House was clean and well equipped and the beds were comfortable "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Chateau. It’s located in the most idyllic setting, so peaceful surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and the chateau itself is wonderful. There was a breakfast spread laid out in the morning too. Couldn’t recommend more. "

"Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds. No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "

"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."

"We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here"

"Je séjourne régulièrement au Campanile de Sablé-sur-Sarthe dans le cadre de mes déplacements professionnels. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux, familial. Mention spéciale au personnel, toujours souriant, disponible et à l’écoute. C’est un point de chute fiable et agréable pour les voyageurs fréquents. Le restaurant sur place est une belle surprise : cuisine simple mais savoureuse, avec des buffets bien garnis. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié, parfait pour démarrer la journée."
