It took us a few days to get used to the pillows, as they are very different to pillows used in UK, but this is only a small matter. The entrance is up stone steps to a large combined living room and kitchen. Wooden open stairs lead to the bedroom and bathroom. "We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. "It was a traditional french cottage and was a little basic and lighting was a bit poor at night. But as the weather was good we were outside a lot with the dog and the garden is great. Everything worked in the house but internet reception is quite poor unless you go to the garage.Had not realised we would be opposite other guests in a bigger place but that was no problem and made it interesting. "Very friendly welcome. It was an ideal site having two young children with us; swimming pool, plenty of games, etc. It was only a short walk to the beach and amenities in the village. Ideally there would be an additional toilet, but this didn't spoil our enjoyable stay. Highly recommended."
