From this holiday home in St. Honoré-Les-Bains, you have a beautiful view over forests, meadows and hills. Fine patio chairs and garden furniture make it possible to eat outside. The covered terrace offers an insect lamp and can be heated by the outdoor heater. For children, there is a play castle with swings, slide and table tennis.

In St. Honore les Bains are basic facilities like a bakery, pizzeria, supermarket and restaurant, tourist office, tennis courts, fishing pond, jogging track, playground with cable car. There is a golf course, the Bourgogne cycling route, mountain bike trails and whitewater canoeing and rafting. Also visit The Narvau Gorges. Via the marked walking route, you will discover the beautiful flora and fauna of the Morvan in combination with wooden bridges, rocks, cliffs and a beautiful waterfall.

Overordnet set et solid valg til en familieferie, Huset er rummeligt og havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for, fra et veludstyret køkken til komfortable soveværelser, Selvom det var lidt langt fra de store attraktioner, gjorde det rolige miljøet op for det, Det udendørs siddested var rart, men vi ønskede nogle skyggefulde steder i løbet af dagen

De aankomst was uitermate goed. Ondanks onze latere aankomst bleven Anita en Hugo op ons wachten. Fantastische mensen. Hebben meerdere malen bij ons geinformeerd of alles naar wens was.

Prachtige omgeving, huis was makkelijk te vinden en bij aankomst werden we verwelkomt door de vriendelijke beheerders. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, voor een comfortabel verblijf. Bos ligt op 50 meter afstand, voor een mooie wandeling te maken. In een straal van 70 km is er van alles te beleven in de omgeving. Van mooie wandeltochten tot historische ontdekkingstochten middels een gids (Bibract-Mont-Beuvray). Wie van rust houdt, komt hier goed aan zijn trekken. TOP!!!

Er staan 2 vakantiehuizen op een af te sluiten terrein. De weg waar het huis aan ligt, loopt 50 meter verder over in het bos. Er is nog maar 1 woning verderop (dus geen doorgaand verkeer). Prima voor onze hond. De beheerders (Hugo en Anita) zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Toen bleek dat er geen DVD-speler in huis was (wel volgens de huisomschrijving) heeft Hugo zijn eigen DVD-speler neergezet. In Saint-Honoré-les-Bains staan veel verlaten huizen te koop. Overdag is het er erg stil. Als je van rust houdt en wandelen is het een uitstekende plek.

De ontvangst was heel hartelijk. In de woning hangt een zeer muffe geur, helaas bracht het veelvuldig verluchten geen beterschap. De matras van het tweepersoonsbed is dringend aan vervanging toe. Onze kinderen vonden de speeltoestellen buiten heel leuk. Deze vakantiewoning is echter geen drie sterren waard gezien de heel kleine oppervlakte (niet aan te raden voor meer dan drie persoenen) en het basiscomfort.
