"We stayed at Happy Motel both on our way down and back from Nova Scotia and both rooms were clean. Lots of parking spaces. The staff were welcoming and when we needed something they always had it there for us. We always stay at this motel when travelling to Nova Scotia as it is near restaurants and close to the Transcanada when leaving the next morning."

"Overall, it was a lovely stay. The motel is family owned so the family checked on us a few times as we were at the pool and walking around outside, which I thought was awesome. The outdoor pool was super refreshing, the room was exactly as advertised. Comfortable and clean beds. Will stay again."

"The hotel room was large and comfortable enough to accommodate four people and a dog. There were some signs of spot cleaning in the hallways, but thankfully there was no strong smell of cleaning products or evidence of lingering pet odours. The breakfast had a great selection and was one of the highlights of the stay. The beds and pillows were also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep overall. Unfortunately, the refrigerator in the room made an annoying, intermittent sound that disturbed my sleep. This is something that should be checked and addressed, as a quiet room is an important part of a comfortable stay. A couple of other areas could be improved. The hotel signs were difficult to see and navigate at 11 p.m. in the rain, which made finding the property challenging. The staff member who checked me in was also not particularly warm or welcoming. Accessibility is another area that deserves attention. It is 2026, and while having mobility-accessible rooms on the first level is helpful, guests using wheelchairs or other mobility devices should be able to access other areas of the hotel as well. A vertical platform lift could be a relatively cost-effective alternative to installing a traditional elevator and would provide greater accessibility without requiring a major structural renovation. I hope Comfort Inn will consider options like this so guests with mobility needs aren't faced with unnecessary limitations or additional expenses. Overall, the comfortable bed"
