"Good communication through what’s up. The person welcomed us, showed the room and was very pleasant. The property have kitchen, bathroom and beds. Almost all you need except towels and bedding (?). "We had a wonderful time staying in this well-equipped location. The area is magnificent - the hiking and climbing are superb. Our hosts were warm and friendly. The only downside was that there is no bed-linen/towels supplied. This wasn't made clear on the listing. We were only told in an email, sent the evening before (by this time we had already left home and didn't even see the email until after we arrived), fortunately we were camping and so had adequate bedding with us. "The location was perfect. At the day of the arrival I had to contact the owner to get the check in information. The ad said there would be wifi but there wasn't. When I asked the owner I was told I could get a portable router at the reception, which was closed every day for my 4-day stay. The room was not cleaned properly. Also at the last night of my stay there was a party untill 4 am I was not told about up front so it was hard getting up on time to check out at the right time. Nice big...

"The hotel is relatively new and therefore the facilities are in great conditions. The decorations and furniture give the place a nice ambience. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed staying at Best Western in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne."

"Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants they have. European, Japanese and a cheese place. The food is all cooked fresh and to a great standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is in my opnion in the perfect location, ski in skin out, not far from several ski lifts, but not in thr centre of town so you don't get all the noise and footfall. Beds were really comfy, overall had a great experience and will be back next year! "
