Cozy Cottage with view of Lake Michigan

    This cozy cottage is located in a quaint St. Joseph neighborhood with breath-taking views of Lake Michigan (200 feet from bluff). It is within walking distance to one of several beaches the area has to offer and is minutes from Downtown Saint Joseph which offers fun activities for the family, great restaurants and the nationally acclaimed Harbor Shores golf course which has hosted the Senior PGA championship. The property is only 50 minutes away from Notre Dame Stadium and is a great option if you're planning a football weekend. In most cases during football season, we are able to waive the 4 night minimum stay.

    The renovated cottage includes a beautiful stone patio which is a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the- art appliances, granite counter-tops and oak flooring. The nautical themed living room opens up to a cozy sun-room facing the lake. The four bedrooms each sleep two. Off the kitchen there is a sliding door to a back deck with views of the lake and a gas grill

    A security camera is located on the garage to monitor driveway for activity.

Best Vrbo House

We stayed with another family, and we always use Vrbo. We all agreed that this was our favorite home we have ever stayed in on vacation! The location was perfect, the house had a wonderful, cozy feel, and there was so much space to enjoy. We were so lucky to find this spot, it is a gem!

Very nice!

The Cozy Cottage is very nice, super clean and comfortable. The chocolate chip cookies and the flowers were a sweet touch. The neighborhood is quiet. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent this cottage again.

Cute Cottage with a Great Location

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was perfect for family dinners and game nights. We loved that we could walk down the street to view the sunset every night. The house was clean and the property manager was excellent at communicating with us. It was close to the beach and downtown and was kid-friendly. We definitely recommend the cottage and look forward to renting it again.

FAMILY VACATION

This cute cottage was perfect for our family vacation! We had nice morning walks with my grandchildren will the view of the lake and back for sunsets! We have had family vacations in St Joe for the last 10 years and this house was the best! It was stocked with everything you would need! The owner was great with communication and was there if you needed anything! I would highly recommend this house!

It was perfect!

It was just as described in the listing. The location was terrific, with a view of the water from the dining area, a nice size back deck with grill and located in a very nice neighborhood. Close to all we wanted to do in St. Joseph. The house had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen, and in the basement we found beach towels and some sand toys for the granddaughter. Some nice extra touches too with beautiful fresh flowers on the dining table and a large container of delicious chocolate chip cookies on the kitchen table. The owner was great with staying in touch and answering any questions I had before our arrival. Instructions for entering the house were clear and arrived in a timely manner, and nice clear instructions on the checkout procedure was left right where we could find them. We had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this property!

Very Cozy Cottage!

Great location and super responsive owner. The set up of the house was great for our family to gather to celebrate Christmas (8 ppl). Lots of extra blankets, homemade cookies and they even put up a Christmas tree! The downfall for us was that we checked in around 6pm and it was 50 degrees in the house. We ate dinner wrapped in blankets and wore our jackets to stay warm. It reached acceptable temperature close to midnight. Greg was super responsive and we were so appreciative of his communication. The only other downfall was the cleanliness of the floors - they could use some attention. Despite the negatives, we would still recommend this place!

great family stay

"Cozy cottage" is the perfect name for this place! We had a wonderful time and were so impressed with the number of amenities available. The host worked with us on a last minute change in numbers and notified of extra bedding that was available. We utilized the beach toys, there were all the basic kitchen needs. We had 8 family members in and out, including 2 under 3 years old. The fact there were a few kids toys they could get out was so nice! We didn't bring a pack'n'play, but the extra twin mattress that could be used on the ground was perfect for them. There were thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers and the *most amazing* chocolate chip cookies waiting for us on arrival. Very nice neighborhood, we took a couple walks to trails but it is quite a distance to be able to walk to a beach- less than a 10 minute drive though! Only regret is we didn't stay longer!

This was a great place to stay for the holiday weekend. The location was just perfect (10 mins to St. Joseph, 30 mins to New Buffalo, and approx. 50 mins to Saugatuck) and even though it rained a couple of the mornings, the evenings were nice enough to walk to the lake (a whole 3 mins!) and enjoy the view.
