"The views are truly amazing and all the stars at night are an extra bonus. Sadly it’s still a fair walk on an uneven path and then a stair without a handrail up to the gîte. Taking shopping up is also quite a challenge."

"Cottage was in a lovely location next to river with a sweet little garden. Hosts were very welcoming, providing lots of wood for the fire and even giving us fresh eggs from their hens. Also gave us good tips on things to do in the local area. Cottage was very clean and nicely presented. The second bedroom in the loft was quite small which made it a bit tight for two couples, but otherwise everything was great."

"Nous recherchions un endroit reposant, au calme : nous l’avons trouvé. Le gîte est très bien situé : proche des lacs et nombreux sites touristiques. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques."

"Excellent neighourhood for a holiday, enough room in the house, the house was clean and neat, we had some problems in the communication before our stay, but in the end everything was OK."

"The Water Tower has great character. The upstairs living room is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the circular walk above Tournemire - at 2 1/2 hours a good starter, the first of many further afield. There are plenty of maps and guides in the living room. It is a shame that there is no WiFi available, as nowadays this is a good way to retain contact with the outside world. "Arrived on Sunday to find that no restaurant/chef available. We did not know this and could have been a problem had we not been able to get a curry delivered! The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished. Very nice people and a stunning setting. We all had individual rooms/fires that were well prepared and provided the rest that was needed."
