"An unusual but very attractive property. Very friendly personnel. Breakfast was very generous and plenty of choice, and we liked the simple but filling evening meal. Would certainly stay again if in area. "

"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"So, I had to book this as it was so cheap and everything else was 4 times as much. I did not gave high expectations as in fairness it was excellent value. However, I had difficulty getting in my room due to the door code not working. The showers has no towels and the toilets had no seat. The rooms were hot and so I opened the window and the noise then came through from voices outside and motorbikes. In the end I slept. Which is what mattered as I had been cycling all day.
