"We had a wonderful week at this beautiful gite. Brigitte and Lionel were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The gite itself and grounds are beautifully maintained - we felt super relaxed when we left having spent the week swimming, lying in hammocks and exploring the nature in the garden. "A beautiful villa in a spectacular location. Fabulous stay for families of all ages, a short drive from the lovely town of Niort and coastal paradise of La Rochelle. The facilities were more than pleasing, including the pool (no need to bring floats), a generous games room and expansive garden. "A real experience. The moulin is beautifully furnished and sits in the middle of a field. Hosts helpful and friendly. Perhaps best for a couple or family rather than 2 couples due to layout of the bedrooms. We will always remember our stay in this unique setting. Thankyou"

"This gîte is very spacious and located in a quiet and beautiful landscape. Having some cheese, baguette and wine while the sun sets is just heavenly. The home made jam and fresh eggs from the owners chickens were just a wonderful and personal touch. I can highly recommend staying here!"

"Our host lives with his family in the main house, they were very friendly and helpful without being imposing. The gite was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a self catering holiday. The weather was beautiful if not a little hot, reaching around 38 degrees - maybe a fan would have made sleeping a bit more comfortable. The online description doesn’t do the gite and especially the pool and garden area justice as many improvements have been made since those photos were taken. The...
