The staff were all pro-actively helpful: they posted cards for us and had no problems leaving baggage and provided free water for our trip home. Breakfast service was excellent.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. The staff went out of their way to help us park our car when the Tour de France was about to start from St Malo and the streets were being blocked by the police so there was no available parking. One of the staff came with me in my car, and when we couldn’t find a space in the citadel, he took his car and I followed him in mine in order to find a parking space outside the citadel. He went above and beyond to help us, which was a kind act, and very much appreciated. The breakfast was good quality and tasty and we felt like we were very well looked after. We loved the town, and would definitely go back, and we would stay at this lovely hotel again because of the real hospitality.

Arrived on early morning ferry and very pleased to be able to leave cases ahead of check-in. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were excellent and we were thrilled to be upgraded. Breakfast was fantastic with many lovely homemade items. Our gluten-free friend was also catered for which was appreciated. Thank you very much, we hope to see you again :)

Accueil tellement chaleureux dans cet hôtel familial. Nous avons pu mettre nos bagages dans la bagagerie fermée à clé et sécuritaire à notre arrivée et nous avons été visiter la ville en toute quiétude. La propriétaire nous a remis un plan avec les choses intéressantes à voir. Ils nous ont également référé des restaurants et villes autours à visiter. En terminant, ce voyage était pour notre anniversaire de mariage et ils nous ont laissé une très gentille (et délicieuse !) attention dans la chambre. L'endroit est très bien situé, intra-muros et la chambre était calme, bien insonorisée et propre.

Expedia offered a choice of payment either immediately, or on arrival at the Hotel 2 days later. I opted for the latter, but was then told to contact the Hotel as the payment method was not acceptable. It would have been better to have Expedia insist upon immediate payment as this would have avoided a call in which they understood my French but I perhaps did not understand all of lhe reply (the line was faint). Once there all was resolved quickly and without fuss, and the stay itself was most enjoyable. Highly recommended.
