"This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. "We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood of the village and we enjoyed several walks to the nearby banks of the Dordogne river. We recommend this property...

We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. "From first contact, Nathalie was extremely helpful, we got a great video for check in as we were arriving very late at night. The wine was great, we know, we drank enough of it!! The house was clean and spacious with lots of games, the swimming pool was perfect, we all loved the diving board.
