"An immaculately clean and well presented house in a lovely, scenic village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly sitting on the sun-trap terrace, looking over the river, that leads straight off the living space. The beds were comfy, the linen was great quality and there were even robes that could be used. Communication with the host was excellent and the property was easy to find and access, as there is key safe."

"Our stay was horrible. We spend 2 nights at the house. When we arrived our kids jumped into the pool. The swimming pool filter was not working. (We found out later) The same night they both got very sick. The house was very dirty end didn’t smell fresh at all. When we were cooking in the tiny kitchen we found some hair in the pan and we lost our appetite. The second night we woke up in the middle of the night because there were big hoornaars in the bedroom off the children. Later in the night...

"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! "
