"This is a magical town and the castle makes it complete. From the history of the buildings and architecture to the charm and peacefulness that captures you in every way. Our dinner was authentic and served as if you are royally. Everything about this hotel is worth discovering as well as the charming town of Altomonte "
"Pulling up to Tenuta Contessa was like a dream. It was a quiet time with very few guests when we stayed. The pool area was lovely but the showstopper was the food and the chef, Pietro. He was personable and made us family style meals according to what we wanted. Very accommodating. The views here are also spectacular surrounding the entire property. "

"Fantastic stay! Beautiful, peaceful, clean, well equipped. Grocery stores nearby. Adequate internet for working. Owner was very responsive when we needed him, we just couldn’t fault him. A really happy stay, we’d definitely stay there again."

Is rubble and not being used. Pool is empty and looks to be out of commission. The internet was unusable. Breakfast provided was ok. "

"A wonderful Villa. All you need for a two week stay. The communal pool was gorgeous- infinity part over looking the sea.
The area felt safe, parking was good.
You do need a car to go anywhere and we couldn’t find a taxi service.
The area is great as can visit many beaches and towns. Diamante was our favourite.
