"The property was obviously brand new and the look pretty good. Unfortunately there were a few faults. No washing machine or dryer (which had been advertised in the property details), downstairs toilet leaked water all over the floor when flushed. Exhaust fan over the stove did not work. Shutters in upstairs bedroom did not work. When we asked the property owner if he could fix the toilet and provide washing ability he promised to have corrected the next day. We emailed him the next evening...

"Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. The source is up a steep hill in the host’s house and we only had 1 bar on our phones at best. One night we had a power outage. The host was not on the property to address the problem. The...
