The house is outside the bustle of Caen but an easy drive to get there. Plus, grocery stores and restaurants were just a few minutes away. "It’s a good base for Caen if you don’t have a car. Close to the train station, close to city center (walking distance or taking the tram). Shower is amazing water pressure, kitchen is super clean and has a small fridge, microwave and stove (didn’t use). Nice sealed window so it’s quiet inside the room. The AC could use some work perhaps - it’s not super cold, maybe just a maintenance issue. "

"Breakfast is very good. Close to main train station. Electric tram stop right in front. Easy walk to the central city. We checked in late night and the night receptionist Maia was delightful, provided us with a lot of information and made us feel right at home"

"This was a great cheap place to stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were good. And the place was clean. Only dislike was the amount of people smoking in the halls and too.s and right outside our window! As non smokers this is really unpleasant. But in Europe it seems smoking is pretty common still."
