Welcome to the Clos du Levant Discover a bright and spacious holiday home in Oléron, just 800 metres from the beach. The traditional Oléron island architecture has been redesigned with a blend of softness and modernity to create a charming, cosy retreat in the heart of a quiet hamlet—perfect for families and groups. This former 19th‑century wine cellar offers 190 m² of living space and a 650 m² private, south‑facing garden. Fully renovated in 2022, it features 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, comfortably hosting up to 10 guests. An outdoor terrace with summer kitchen and lounge area completes this ideal holiday setting.
Layout & Interiors The house is divided into two wings, offering space and privacy. The left wing opens with a TV lounge featuring a library, baby‑foot table, and desk—a perfect relaxation space. It leads into a 60 m² open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable living room. The master suite, with its private bathroom, adjoins this space. The right wing is dedicated to the night area and includes 4 beautiful bedrooms, each with its own private shower room—ideal for groups wanting both comfort and independence. The 4 bedrooms feature 140‑cm double beds, and the master suite offers a 160‑cm double bed. A travel cot and baby booster seat are available on request.
Garden & Outdoor Spaces All rooms open onto a completely private, south‑facing garden, hidden from outside view—a true haven of peace. The adjoining lane is very quiet, offering a serene, relaxing environment. The garden includes sun loungers, deckchairs, armchairs, and a large table for 12 under the shade of a mulberry tree and two parasols. You will also enjoy a fully equipped summer kitchen under a covered patio, with plancha grill, sink, and worktop, set on a wooden terrace. A five‑seater outdoor lounge completes this inviting outdoor space—perfect for long summer evenings.
The Surroundings The house is located in the centre of Oléron, halfway between Saint‑Pierre and La Cotinière — between the island’s lively commercial hub and its largest fishing port. We are also right next to the island’s main cycling routes, and we will be happy to help you arrange bike rentals delivered directly to the house. The beaches are within a 15‑minute walk or a 5‑minute bike ride, and there is something for everyone, whether at high or low tide: swimming, kite surfing, surfing, sailing school… We will also provide all the guidance you need to make the most of the island’s many water sports.
