Hotel Universel Montreal
Our stay at Hotel Universal was pleasant and convenient. We were in from Calgary for the Canadian Championships for soccer and it was only a 1/2 block away. The staff were helpful and the restaurant was good food. I would recommend this hotel.

Charming unit with Balcony - Near Highway 40
The balcony door was broken/didn't close during our winter stay. Furniture was broken leaving inadequate seating. Several thermostats didn't work. There was a sewage smell wafting through the unit.
