"My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Maya Uma. It was a very nice B&B in a very quiet area, not far from the beaches. John-Marc and Lyod were wonderful hosts that provided a very good breakfast and great recommendations for dining and visiting nearby wineries. "Warm welcome from Estelle with helpful guidance for local points of interest and restaurants. Shower was very good with hot water operating without any wait time. Breakfast was all of good quality, home made approach with apples pick from her tree each morning, and cooked eggs from her free range hens were offered. Very nice secure countryside house."

The place was advertised as pet friendly with wifi etc… and for the price we paid we would expect some kind of comfort. Apparently the property does not accept pets so they put us in an annexe outside of the property (just next door). "We stayed for a night. The exterior looks a bit rundown but the apartments are great. Everything works, it’s well equipped and clean. There’s also an elevator which is a major plus. Daily continental breakfast for 11 euros - honestly it’s too expensive for what they serve. You have to bring down your trash upon check out and clean the kitchen if you used it. Overall a nice stay."

"Check in was simple via a key press. The owner spoke a little English which helped. Had to purchase magic sponges to clean the pool to prevent yellow line build up! Local shop within walking distance had everyday things handy. Bit too far to walk to the beach through the woods which meant cycling or the car. Overall very nice place."
