"Staying in a cottage on a Manor is definitely a unique experience. The accommodations were tranquil, in pleasantly nestled in a neighborhood within walking distance of the main hustle and bustle of Bayeux. We walked to town for breakfast and dinner each evening. Definitely a nice spot for a couple. Easy arrival and departure"

"The host largely ignored our texts and requests. He never came to fix the things that he said would be sorted. The house was generally in a poor state of neglect, fridge door didn't close, kitchen kick board falling off, cooker inadequate for large group. The dishwasher stopped closing at one point and my brother fixed it after borrowing tools from a neighbour. The host just said it was working before. Pool was toxic and not maintained. My great nephew was sick after swallowing the water....

"The location was perfect and the apartment held its old charm. There are opportunities for improvements to the cleanliness of the apartment. We also reported a small leak that extending from the shower to the toilet room when the shower was running. This leak should be checked into because it may also be a cause for the mildew smell from that area. The rooms and apartment were sufficient."
