"Really enjoyed our two nights here - Dorothee and family have a gem of a property in their garden. We loved the parking and private access via the bridge running over the river Vienne passing by the side of the property. Well placed for visiting the coast - Veulle Les Roses a lovely village and well worth a visit. Just over 2 hours from Calais so useful to break a journey."

"A lovely place with a welcoming and helpful host who lives on site. Rouen is easily accessed with frequent buses. The place is secure and quiet (The church next door only rang its bells on Sunday) with a very pretty garden. The garden can only be accessed up a flight of steps outside so not accessible for all. Everything was as described, although the Internet is not fast. We had a great stay at Janine’s place exploring Rouen and the surrounding area."

Bien situé dans une impasse au calme, une place de parking est réservée devant le logement mais difficile d’accès en marche arrière. Nous avons été déçu des prestations du logement non conforme aux photos : tout est rafistolé, restes de pain dans la cuisine, Senseo cassée, beaucoup de trous dans les murs et les portes. "The house is really beautiful and perfect for one or two families. There is a spacious front yard with many children toys both in house and garden. We stayed for a week and explored Normandy. Most of the places we visited (Le Havre, Honfleur, Deauville, Etretat, Rouen, etc.) are reachable in less than an hour. We haven't met the owners, but we contacted them several times and there were very nice and helpful. The check in and out went very smooth. I would definitely recommend this property."

"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit hier verbracht! Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Alles ist stilvoll dekoriert. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen! Die Terrasse ist sehr großzügig und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Tagesausflüge nach Rouen, Dieppe und die Nähe zum Strand haben uns sehr gefallen. Check-In und -Out waren absolut unkompliziert! "We would book this lovely home again anytime! Charming, peaceful, comfortable are all excellent words to describe the property. The accommodations were exactly as pictured on the site. The hostess was very friendly and helpful, very responsive. She gave us an excellent list of restaurants to choose from in the surrounding area. Brasserie Paul and La Terrasse were both exceptional. The boulangerie/pattisserie in the village was fabulous! We only wished we could have stayed longer. Maybe next...
